Each March the Citizens On Patrol has an Appreciation and Fellowship Banquet for all the patrollers participating in the Beaumont C.O.P. program. The patrollers are treated to dinner as a way of saying thank you for all their hard work helping to make our streets safer. Every year a special speaker is lined up to speak to all the patrollers at the meeting. All patrollers have their hours listed in a program for the event so that everyone can see their contribution for the year. Awards are given to the top patrollers for the year and their names engraved on a plaque that is hung at the Beaumont Police Department. This event gives all patrollers a chance to visit with one another and celebrate their accomplishments.
