C.O.P. Fundraisers

Although Citizens On Patrol by volunteers is a great asset to any community it still costs money for equipment, t-shirts, literature to be printed and classes to be held. Our volunteer members are provided with training, t-shirts identifying them as Citizens on Patrol, scanners, cell phones, and magnetic signs to place on their vehicles. So it is with these costs in mind that the C.O.P. organization holds fundraisers. Many of the fundraisers have been very different and diverse in scope, such as our first venture which was a citywide garage sale. As our patrollers increased, more funds were needed and we hosted a link/barbeque sale. Some of our members then discovered that their employers would make contributions to non-profit organizations for employee volunteer hours, and this money greatly assisted by allowing the purchase of much needed equipment. Of course, the C.O.P. program also accepts donations. If you or someone you know is interested in making a contribution of money, time, or equipment, please contact us at:
