The Board of Governors:
• shall act as a service and administrative Board for the Beaumont Citizens On Patrol organization.

• is responsible for monitoring and ruling on compliance with the By-Laws of the Beaumont Citizens On Patrol organization.

• is responsible for amending the By-Laws as deemed necessary in compliance with the directives of the By-Laws.

• shall promote the recruitment of new members to the organization.

• shall promote the maintaining of patrol hours.

• is responsible for setting training sessions and maintaining the integrity of the training format.

• shall be the coordinating group to maintain compliance with the directives of the Beaumont Police Department and Neighborhood Associations.

• is responsible for the Annual Awards Meeting and the annual COP/BPOA Picnic, assuring that these functions occur in a quality manner.

• is responsible for decision-making relative to the Scholarship fund.
